Predators: Skin and Money

Laser Away botoxes their beliefs

The Saga Continues. Laser Away and their money hitmen at Vive Financial aren’t backing down trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. Or money from a woman for services they did not provide, and she did not receive.

Their claim is even though I did not receive services, I ‘tapped’ my way into a $5,000 LINE OF DEBT. Charges were put onto my account before I received any services and even before I even agreed to what the services would be.

I also apparently ‘tapped’ on my medical records that I was pregnant. In my 50s and 10 years into menopause.

What I thought I was receiving was a $5,000 Line of CREDIT. You know, like when Home Depot offers an in-store charge card. I didn’t know I’d be charged UPFRONT for future purchases, and then forced to pay for them without actually receiving anything. That’s called Unjust Enrichment.

Now my account is past due, and ‘past its limit’ — because of the charges the botoxed faced sales girl rang up on my account I’m betting so she could make a sales quota (and maybe a couple hundred in commissions?) — so I’m not able to use the account for services, even if I wanted to go back under their dirty needles.

Not that their needles are unsanitary. I’m talking about their predatory business practices.

After this tweet from a social media ‘expert’ whose job is to sit and watch feeds for girls with their new cartoon-looking lips and carefully staged photos of treatments that let you know what’s being worked on without actually showing it and re-sharing these proud, if not semi-pornographic moments, the collection calls kept coming.

NEWS FLASH: If you would like to ‘better assist me’ you can remove the charges and associated costs (as in interest and late fees. Your ‘customer service agent’ didn’t seem to understand this) from my account, stop ruining my credit, and robocalling me every fucking hour with your collection calls to pay for services I never received! That would be really, REALLY helpful!

I receive collection calls from customer service agents who have no idea this has been going on FOR TWO YEARS. Customer service agents who have to go digging for information, but can’t seem to find all the letters from me, nor can they find what previous customer service agents have sent to me. The latest one even claimed ‘they can’t do that’ as I sit with what he says they can’t do firmly in my hands, printouts of my account with all the charges, the costs associated and, all the payments I’ve made for the services I did receive.

And this new customer service agent told me that I would need to write a letter to an address I’ve written several letters to and present my case as I’ve done for YEARS now because from what he sees, that’s what I need to do — because he can’t see what I’ve already been doing FOR TWO YEARS in his records. That is some top-notch customer service right there.

AND — he says I need to produce ‘receipts.’ Receipts for services I did not receive? Does anyone do that? Could I go into Home Depot and get a receipt for something I didn’t buy?

AND — when I did receive services at Laser Away, I never remember walking out of there with a receipt. Even when I purchased a bottle of sunscreen. No receipts. Just tap, tap, tap on their little screen and the bottle when in my purse. I didn’t even need one of their little bags.

Maybe I could just make up my own receipt? Yes, that’s what I’ll do, I’ll make up a receipt that shows I was charged for services but did not receive them. This must be what Vive Financial wants me to do, since it’s what their client Laser Away does — makes up shit.

As far as “legal council’ goes: You mean the couple of conversations I had with a Laser Away Area Rep? The one who was going to ‘help’ with this? The one who stopped answering emails and phone calls a year ago? I have to wonder if she’s still even employed at Laser Away. The turnover for the position supposedly getting my records changed twice during the three months it took to send me those records. The ones that said I was pregnant and nursing at the time.

Reading up on the integrity of the men at the top of Laser Away in articles like this by Yitzi Weiner makes me wonder where they leave their morals when they talk about the financial side of the business — preying on women.

You push a society of plastic, hairless, photoshopped women and parade them like you’re running a porn site. Perhaps you’re even dipping your toe into the sex slave industry like the good ‘ole boys at Back Page?

I wish I could say I don’t care, but I do. I was sucked into your bullshit and now it’s costing me.

SIDE NOTE: I also believe that by going after the CUSTOMER of the sex slave industry, you won’t need the commodity.

But hey, I see there’s still sidewalk space for my tent in front of Laser Away at Scottsdale Quarter. I wonder if the botoxed sales girl will recognize me and my stress-lined face when she tosses a quarter into my cup while unlocking the front doors to her job where she’ll prey on others, as she’s been taught to by predators.

All I’m asking is for Laser Away and Vive Financial to remove the charges and the associated costs for services I never received from my account and stop preying on me.
